How Tuina Works
Based on the traditional Chinese medicine theory of meridians, the Tuina massage uses manipulation and massage to balance the Qi flow. It can induce changes in the body through stimulation, adjusting nutrients, and strengthening bacteria-destroying phagocytes.
What to Expect During Tuina Treatment
During your treatment, you may feel comfortable and quite relaxed. However, you might experience some discomfort when your therapist manipulates certain parts of your body. Your therapist may stimulate painful areas and employ special techniques if required to achieve optimal results. If you communicate your discomfort to your therapist, they can adjust their movements accordingly.
