To face increasing demand for podiatric care, Body & Soul is seeking a skillful, team-oriented and service-driven podiatrist for its locations throughout Shanghai.
The duties listed below include but are not limited to:
- Assessing the condition of a patient’s feet, ankles, or lower legs
- Diagnosing foot, ankle, and lower-leg problems through physical exams, x rays, medical laboratory tests and other methods if necessary
- Providing medical and surgical care for foot and ankle ailments, including calluses, ingrown toenails, heel spurs, and arch problems, etc.
- Prescribing and ordering shoe inserts (orthotics) to improve a patient’s condition, if necessary
- Advising patients on foot and ankle care and on health and lifestyle issues
- Referring patients to GPs or other specialists if larger health problems are detected, such as diabetes or musculoskeletal issues
- Evaluating patient care by communicating all information pertinent to the patient's status and writing reports
Qualifications and requirements:

The duties listed below include but are not limited to:
- Assess patients’ levels of mobility, strength, endurance and other physical abilities
- Diagnose physical conditions and develop treatment plans to restore movement and function and reduce pain or limitations to mobility
- Provide therapeutic musculoskeletal therapy based on clients’ needs
- Communicate with physicians and/or other healthcare professionals regarding patients' problems, needs and progress
- Measure patients’ progress regularly and adjust treatment accordingly
- Advise patients on how to manage their conditions independently and help them prevent avoidable recurrences or complications
Qualifications and requirements:

We are seeking a team-oriented, service-driven Part Time X-Ray Assistant Technician for our Hongmei Road Clinic - Hongqiao. The X-Ray Assistant Technician will provide direct patient care as they conduct radiography procedures.
The duties listed below include but are not limited to:
- Exhibit strong customer service skills in daily interaction with the public, patients, staff and physicians
- Position X-Ray equipment and adjust controls to set exposure factors, such as time and KVP
- Position patient on examining table and set up and adjust equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by physician
- Process exposed radiographs using computer generated methods
- Utilize computer software programs, as needed, to communicate and understand patient needs and provide copy of X-Ray images
- Participate in planning and evaluation of patient care by communicating all information pertinent to the patient's status (and writing X-Ray reports)
- Maintain supplies and equipment, and assists to ensure orderliness of the examination and treatment rooms
- Provide for patient's comfort, safety and privacy
Qualifications and requirements:
- Friendly, energetic and passionate about a career in the medical field
- Making patients feel comfortable and at ease
- Like a busy atmosphere and can manage multiple tasks at once
- Preferably able to write X-Ray reports
- Able to communicate in English and Chinese
- Certified to perform X-rays
- Minimum of one year of experience in a physician practice or clinic setting is preferred
